OCTEC offers fully accredited, nationally recognised qualifications in Aged Care and community services work. This training is widely supported by Aged Care Facilities throughout New South Wales, including Wontama Homes in Orange, which has a 21 year partnership with OCTEC in the provision of high quality, workplace relevant training.
Recently, OCTEC extended its provision of training services to Indigenous communities in Broken Hill, Menindee and Ivanhoe. This was in conjunction with Uniting Care Community Care based in Orange, one of the largest providers of Aged Care services in NSW to indigenous communities.
Below is a sample list of the courses available to Aged Care and Community Care facilities who are seeking to help their staff upgrade or add to their work relevant qualifications. The first three qualifications are also offered to the unemployed.
