Job Network is a national network of 109 private, community and government organisations specialising in providing unemployed people, particularly disadvantaged and long-term unemployed people, access to the right job through Job Search Support and Intensive Support services.
The objectives for Job Network Services are:
* To help Eligible Job Seekers to find work as quickly as possible
* To maximise outcomes for Eligible Job Seekers particularly the long-term unemployed and those identified as highly disadvantaged
* To maximise the delivery of high quality, ethical employment services
Under Employment Services Contract, (the Commonwealth Government's Job Network contract) OCTEC is a Provider of Australian Government Employment Services (PAGES) in a number of Employment Service Areas (ESAs) in the Western NSW Labour Market Region (LMR):
* Patterson (Orange, Cowra and Young)
* Central Western (Bathurst and Oberon)
* Parkes (Forbes and Parkes)
* Central Eastern (Lithgow and Mudgee)
In addition to the full-time sites, there are part-time sites (Condobolin, West Wyalong and Lake Cargelligo) and numerous outreach sites from which OCTEC provides Australian Government Employment Services.
