What is the Business Enterprise Centre?

The Business Enterprise Centre, Cabonne Orange Blanyey Inc., is a non-profit incorporated body, sponsored by the NSW Government, Local Government and the Private Sector. It is part of a network of forty-nine centres in New South Wales.

Objectives:

To create employment by encouraging the establishment and continued viable operation of small business in the Orange Cabonne and Blayney Council areas, in ways deemed appropriate by an independent Board of Management.

What we Do

The Business Enterprise Centre provides free confidential advice to prospective and existing businesses, eg -

• Legal requirements to get started
• Checks on feasibility
• Assistance with business planning and cash flow forecasting
• Assistance with loan applications
• Advice on marketing, promotion funding, research, sources of information etc.
• Provide statistical information and business publications
• Training and advice on training
• Act as a sounding board for the busy owner-manager
• Assist with grant applications where applicable

Advice is provided directly and by referral to experts.

The BEC is involved with community, industry and Council projects which will help with increased employment and creation of a better business environment.
