My name is Steve Chapman, I live and work in Orange.
My hobbies include Hockey and Model railways and more recently HO Scale Slot Cars. Yes...I'm still a kid inside!!
I have been creating my master railway layout for some four years, and I'm on to attempt No.2 in the actual construction stakes. My first layout was 12 foot long, 6 foot wide and from day one it was a complete mess. A move to my first home resulted partial damage of the layout. Good excuse to pull it to bits and start again.
Now there was only one problem... New house, new expenses. Every turn of the head meant money spent on the house. So in the shorter term, I decided to follow the ideas of a friend and buy a Slot Car set.
Why?? Because they're cheap and you can start having fun straight away that's why. Well, anyway, this friend of mine and I are now starting a local Slot Car Club. It's called the Central West HO Slot Car Club.

Not to mention all the people coming out of the woodwork who are interested in joining!!
