OCTEC is a Registered Training Organisation and a recognised leader in the provision of quality training. We’ve been in the business of providing training services throughout our 40 year history and currently train in a wide variety of vocational areas ranging from aged care to business, civil construction to hospitality.
OCTEC is registered with the national vocational education and training regulator, the Australian Skills Quality Authority, to deliver more than 30 qualifications or units of competency from 11 training packages. OCTEC’s wide range of qualifications enables us to respond to the needs of employers and individuals in a timely manner, and to provide training participants with nationally-recognised qualifications at the Certificate II, III, IV and Diploma levels of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Complementing OCTEC’s delivery of full qualification training is a substantial program of short course training aimed at addressing specific skill areas required by industry. This includes work health and safety, first aid, medications management, dementia care, chemical user training, safe food handling and hospitality skills, e.g. customer service and RSA/RCG skills.
