Brock moved to North Queensland after finishing high school, leaving his family home in NSW\u2019s Hunter Region. Wanting to make something of himself, he built a successful career in the mining industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, he got sick and returned to his family home Cessnock. He was diagnosed with Leukaemia, and received treatment in Newcastle and Sydney. The cancer went into remission two years later. The whole experience took a toll on his physical and mental health. He was unemployed for eight years after this due to this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Redy to return to work<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Determined to reclaim his life, Brock sought assistance at OCTEC<\/a> Cessnock. He partnered with Consultant Julie. She quickly recognised his resolve and eagerness to start a new chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back to mining<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Brock secured an interview with mining cleaning company Mainstream Industries<\/a>, ready to apply his significant industry experience. He did require some intensive training, but doubted his ability to succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julie arranged a Biz Support package<\/a> for the company to assist with finance for Brock\u2019s first aid, working at height and confined space training. He passed his medical examination and induction, before starting at Glencore Mining Singleton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Brock began to restart his career, he expressed his appreciation of Julie\u2019s dedicated support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
